Okaland hitting coach Chili Davis can claim some success:
When Jemile Weeks homered from the left side of the plate Thursday, three innings after homering from the right side, he was greeted in the dugout by hitting coach Chili Davis.
“You know who had the lead in switch-hit homers in the same game before (Mark) Teixeira?” Davis asked. “It was me.”
Teixeira has done it 12 times, Davis and Eddie Murray did it 11 times. Weeks said he does not believe that he ever has homered from both sides of the plate in the same game, at any level.
Oakland could certainly use a power surge from their young second baseman. Weeks would do well in his career to post Davis like numbers.

Weeks is gonna be an exciting ballplayer …
