The Reds are off to a 9-0 lead over the Cubs at the end of four innings. Rookie Aristides Aquino, 10 for 24 in his first eight games this year, hit three home runs for 1/3 of the Reds offense. That gives Aquino seven home runs in his eight games.

Meanwhile, Sonny Gray has not allowed a hit through four innings. He did walk two.

Update: That is the 17th three-home run game of the season, the third most in the 30 team era. There’s still a lot of season left to catch the 2001 record of 22.

Update: Kyle Schwarber gets a hit in the fifth, so that feat won’t happen.
