Just got back from the Durham Bulls game. The home team provided plenty of offense as they knocked out 13 hits in an 8-3 victory over Buffalo. Aneury Rodriguez had a shutout going until he loaded the bases with one out in the seventh. The pen allowed two of those runs to score, but he the starter still pitched a nice game. It must be tough to be a starter for Durham, since their is little chance of getting called up right now with the talent in the major leagues.

The stadium was packed, with over 10,000 people in attendance. Here’s a little video from the grandstand behind home plate:

As you can see, it has a Fenway feel with a Blue Monster in left. The most expensive seats were $9. It’s definitely worth checking out if you’re ever in the area.
