Games of Monday shook up the standings a bit in the Baseball Musings Batter Rankings. Max Muncy of the Dodgers stays atop the list as he posts a one for five day with a double in the 9-4 win over the Cardinals. Fernando Tatis Jr.of the Padres moves into second place with a home run, his sixteenth of the season, and a walk. In the same game, Kris Bryant of the Cubs posts a two for four day with a triple and a home run to move into fifth place as Chicago wins 7-2. Bryant moved up thanks to a thirteen game hit streak in which he slashed .377/.431/.547.

The Toronto Blue Jays did not play on Monday, leaving Marcus Semien in third place and Vladimir Guerrero Jr.in fourth place.

Three players posted game scores of 78 on Monday, the best total of the day. Patrick Wisdom of the Cubs, Max Schrock of the Reds, and Chris Taylor of the Dodgers reached that level. All collected three hits and no walks. Wisdom hit two home runs, Schrock missed the cycle by a single, and Taylor hit two doubles and a home run.
