The Dodgers go for a four-game sweep of the Padres and their fifth win in a row against San Diego as Ryan Bergert visits Yoshinobu Yamamoto. Bergert makes the fourth start of his career after a short stint in the bullpen. Overall he owns a 2.33 ERA in 19 1/3 innings, holding opponents to a .188 BABIP. In two regular season starts against the Padres in 2024, Yamamoto allowed eight runs in six innings.
