Mike Vasil takes on Jacob deGrom as the White Sox visit the Rangers. Vasil makes his second start to go along with 18 relief appearances. He owns a 2.18 ERA in 41 1/3 innings despite walking 22 and only striking out 28. deGrom’s 2.12 ERA comes with a much more impressive 74 K and 17 walks in 76 1/3 innings.

Joe Ryan of the Twins tries to cool the hot Astros and Hunter Brown. Ryans K/BB stands at 5.47 on the season and 4.90 for his career. Brown’s 1.82 ERA ranks fourth in the majors. He allowed just 64 hits in 88 innings.

Atlanta looks like it might host the slugfest of the day as Chase Dollander of the Rockies takes on Spencer Strider. Dollander allowed 12 home runs in 44 2/3 innings, while 12 of Strider’s 21 hits allowed went for extra bases.
