Carlos Fisher pitches in relief for the Cincinnati Reds. He was a true rookie in 2009, and posted very good strikeout and walk numbers. His walks were high, and his hits were high for his strikeouts, which led to a 4.47 ERA. In the minors, Fisher showed much better control. If he can get that back, he should be a very useful middle reliever for Cincinnati. He’ll also need to do better against left-handed batters.
