Elih Villanueva made a less than impressive major league debut. He was wild, walking five while only striking out two, leading to eight runs in three innings of work. As Rob Neyer noted, his poor stats in minors indicated he might get hit around today. The Marlins needed a spot starter for a double header, and Elih was the sacrificial lamb. The Phillies lead the Marlins 8-1 after five innings.
