Jeff Fiorentino played outfield for the Baltimore Orioles in 2009. He signed to play in Japan. Fiorentino has only accumulated 173 PA in part of four seasons with Baltimore and Oakland. His .341 OBP isn’t bad, but he hits for very little power. He hit for pretty good power in the minor leagues. I can see where he would be a useful outfielder to have in AAA. I’m somewhat surprised no team gave him more of a chance, especially as he’s going into his age 27 season, which should be right at his peak.
