The Nationals take on the Phillies with Jake Irvin and Cristopher Sanchez on the mound. Irvin gives up some power, but with a .264 OBP allowed, the power doesn’t do much damage. Balls in play against Sanchez this season are finding holes, as he allowed a .338 BABIP in 2025 versus .306 for his career.

The Athletics send their big free agent signing, Luis Severino, to the mound against Nathan Eovaldi of the Rangers. Severino owns a good 3.49, but just a 1-3 record. His strikeout rate is low this season, but so is his BABIP, just .234. Eovaldi owns a 2.21 ERA with just three home runs and three walks allowed in 36 2/3 innings.
