Ichiro pulls Tim Lincecum’s first pitch foul down the rightfield line.

Update: Ichrio pulls a high 2-2 pitch over the infield for a single. He broke his bat but still got a high line drive out of it.

Update: Jeter gets hit on the outside of his left hand below the pinkie. Two on, none out, Joe Mauer up.

Update: Mauer hits the ball about a foot in front of the play, and Yadier Molina makes the play to third. Wright’s throw pulls Pujols off the bag and they don’t get the double play.

Teixeira pulls the ball into the second base hole, and Pujols gets to it, showing his range. He boots the ball, however, and everyone is safe with Jeter scoring from second. AL leads 1-0.

Update: Bay singles to load the bases. Lincecum doesn’t get to face lineups that can hit too often in the NL West.

Update: Hamilton grounds to first, and Pujols gets Bay at second, but there’s no return throw. The AL takes a 2-0 lead. Young grounds out to third and Roy Halladay comes out with a 2-0 lead.
