The Mariners visit the Blue Jays to start the 2025 ALCS at 8 PM EDT on Fox. Bryce Miller takes the mound for Seattle against Kevin Gausman. Miller did not walk a batter in his 4 1/3 inning during the ALDS, showing one of the strengths of the Mariners staff. For his career he walked just 2.35 batters per game. Although both his K and BB rates are low, batters own just a .267 BABIP against him. He is a good pitcher to face a team that likes to put the ball in play.
Gausman held the Yankees to one run in 5 2/3 innings in his ALDS start. He only struck out three batters, but he did not allow a home run. Since the start of the 2021 season, Gausman ranks as one of the best pitchers in the game at limiting home runs, so he is a good choice against a long-ball team.
Enjoy!
