Garrett Crochet of the Red Sox just completed six no-hit innings against his former team, the White Sox. He retired the first 15 batters, then walked Brooks Baldwin leading off the sixth. Crochet struck out nine batters so far, with 76 pitches thrown. The Red Sox lead 2-0.
Update: Crochet strikes out two more batters as he retires the side in order in the seventh. The Red Sox still lead 2-0.
Update: Chase Meidroth, who came over in the Crochet deal, ends the no-hitter with a one-out single in the bottom of the eighth inning.
