Drunk Jays Fans are not happy that Toronto might be preparing to dump a ton of money on Heath Bell. (Warning, colorful language at the link.)
Bell, in my mind, seems a lot younger than he actually is. That because he he didn’t become a force until he was 29 years old. He plays 2012 as a 34 year old, and I don’t blame teams for being wary of a fall-off in ability. His strikeout rate took a huge hit in 2011, which is a good sign that the decline is starting.


I guess its a good thing the Marlins seem to be the ones signing him then.
