Shane Victorino moved into the leadoff slot for the Philadelphia Phillies Wednesday night and set the table extremely well, and cleaned up also. He missed the cycle by a double, going four for five with three runs scored and five RBI as the Phillies out-slugged the Nationals 14-7.
The Phillies came into the game with 50 runs in seven games, one run more than the square of the number of games. With the 14 runs tonight, they are at 64 runs in eight games, right on the square. I guess this means they’ll score 17 runs tomorrow. 🙂

If this blog is going to get that geeky I’ll be checking it more often.
