Tyler Colvin hit the first home run of his major league career, and it proved to be the game winner as the Cubs downed the Braves 2-0. Marlon Byrd followed with a home run two innings later for the Cubs second run. Colvin had a lot of his power in the minors come from doubles and triples, but as he matures some of those doubles could travel a bit farther and end up home runs.
