The Orioles replaced their farm direction, David Stockstill, moving him to another role:
The Orioles will portray the change in a positive light, one source said, but club officials had grown increasingly frustrated with David Stockstill’s communication skills and approach to player development.
This seems an odd time to make this move. This sort of thing usually happens at organizational meetings at the end of the season. On top of that, Stockstill’s brother is taking over most of the job’s responsibilities. I wonder what straw broke the camel’s back?
