Freddy Sanchez goes 3 for 5 with a run scored and Ryan Garko gets two hits and two RBI as the Giants defeat the Astros 10-6. Sanchez is now 7 for 18 since joining the Giants and Garko has a .406 OBA. Both are giving the Giants offense what they need, more men on base.
Yup and more production could’ve been had for a song with Adam Dunn and Orlando Hudson from the start of the season until now. If the Giants get the Wild Card it’s because of ungodly pitching going deep into games.
