George Springer of the Blue Jays gained a little on second place Cal Raleigh of the Mariners in the Baseball Musings Batter Rankings. Springer was the only Toronto batter to reach base twice against Yoshinobu Yamamoto, hitting a lead-off double and then getting hit by a pitch. Springer remains in third place, about 2 1/2 points behind Raleigh. The Dodgers won game two of the World Series 5-1.

Aaron Judge of the Yankees, Michael Busch of the Cubs, and Juan Soto of the Mets round out the top five, ranking one, four, and five respectively.

Will Smith posted the best game score of the game, a 66. He went two for four, driving in three of the Dodgers five runs with a single and a homer. Smith is doing a great job getting on base in the post season, with a .400 mark, but the home run is his only extra base hit.
