The Tigers beat the Mariners 9-3 to send their ALDS back to Seattle for a game five on Friday. Zach McKinstry collected three hits and scored twice, Javier Baez drove in four runs, and Troy Melton pitched three shutout innings after the Tigers tied the game to make the runs stand up.

The good news for the Tigers is Tarik Skubal should be able to take the mound on Friday.
