Aaron Judge hit his 40th home run of the season, giving him five seasons with at least 40 homers. (He hit 39 in 2021.) After a long rain delay, Judge, Bellinger, and Giancarlo Stanton hit consecutive homers in the first inning. The win puts New York at the top of the wild card standings in the AL.
