Lawrence Butler of the Athletics hits a ball off the top of the centerfield wall in Sacramento. It bounded away from all the fielder, and Butler’s speed brought him around for an inside the park home run, giving the Athletics a 1-0 lead over the Braves. On the next pitch, Jacob Wilson gets hit in the hand and comes out of the game. The stadium crowd went from ecstatic to dismal.
