Aaron Judge of the Yankees continued on the path to a .400 BA with a two for five night, including a long home run in a 10-2 win over the Royals. That leaves him atop the Baseball Musings Batter Rankings. Judge rebuilt his lead over Cal Raleigh of the Mariners to 15 points as Raleigh went one for five in a 10-3 Diamondbacks win. Corbin Carroll hit two triples in that game.
Jose Ramirez of the Guardians went one for four in the lowest scoring game of the day, a 1-0 Reds win. Ramirez collected a hit in 32 of his last 33 games, posting a slash line of .395/.460/.635 to elevate him to third place. His current hit streak stands at ten games.
Manny Machado of the Padres helped blow out the Dodgers 11-1 with a three for five night, driving in five runs. That gives him a .325/.386/.518 slash line on the season. Kyle Tucker of the Cubs rounds out the top five after he posted a one for four with a walk in an 8-4 win over the Phillies.
Tucket’s teammate Ian Happ posted the highest game score of the day, an 81. He went two for three at the plate, both hits home runs, and drew two walks. It was a rare show of power for Happ this season as he is slugging just .397.

Even if Judge doesn’t hit .400, this is shaping up to be an historic season.
