Dodgers Take Control

The Dodgers spanked the Nationals 10-4 Sunday night, lighting up the Washington bullpen for nine runs in four innings. For Nationals fans, it was an all too familiar loss. The theme going into the game last night was that the Dodgers offense had disappeared, as they were hitting .190/.288/.365. They were especially poor with the few runners they put in scoring position, one for twelve with five walks. I thought to myself, “Small sample size,” and the talent on the Dodgers came to life in the middle of the game.

The Dodgers regain home field advantage. The Nationals have their two best pitchers going in games four and five. Stay tuned.
