Jean Segura singled his third time up against the Astros, and now has a double, homer, and single in the game. Mitch Haniger doubled, homered, and doubled, while Denard Span tripled and homered. With the game in the bottom of the fifth, all three still have a shot at the cycle.

The Mariners lead the Astros 6-2.

Update: Haniger gets his single in the top of the sixth and drives in a run to make it 7-2.

Update: Rightfielder Tony Kemp robs Segura of a hit in the gap as he makes a nice leaping catch. With Segura’s speed he might of had a triple on that one. The Mariners lead 8-2 in the middle of the sixth.

Update: Both Segura and Haniger fail to triple in the eighth. The Mariners lead over the Astros is down to 8-5.
