David Robertson threw without pain today:
Robertson will be without a boot or crutches from here on out, and he walked into the clubhouse with no limp or any sign of injury.
That’s good news for the Yankees bullpen.

Spring training! Can’t wait on what Robertson has to offer
Playng catch is not the same as pitching (especially if it is his right foot which I am not sure about). Also, walking w/o a limp does not necessarily mean pain free when pitching, or even walking.
The danger for the Yankees is he tries to pitch though pain and not admit to having pain. The Yankees would not let him pitch if he admits to pain. Thats how Wang ruined his arm, pitching through foot pain.
David said it’s good news, pft, not that Robertson is necessarily all better.
He won’t rush back. He has a big, big payday ahead of him, and he won’t jeopardize that.
James » I meant that Robertson improved, not that he was completely healed. Sorry for the confusion.
