Nyjer Morgan hit a bases loaded triple in the fifth inning for Milwaukee, clearing the bases and putting the Cardinals down 5-2. Milwaukee goes on to a 6-2 win, their seventh in a row, extending their NL Central lead to 3 1/2 games over the Cardinals.

Morgan’s two for five brings his 2011 slash line to .324/.353/.464. His OBP is in line with his career numbers, but the added hits and power increased his value. He’s turned out to be an excellent pick up for the Brewers.
