Long time Milwaukee pitcher Chris Capuano returned to Miller Park and picked up the victory in a 2-1 Mets win over the Brewers. Capuano walked two and struck out five, allowing one run. The Mets waited until Shaun Marcum was out of the game to score their two run, even though Marcum was wild Tuesday night.
The Mets pen pitched three perfect inning as Francisco Rodriguez recorded his 17th save.
