Rob Neyer is not very happy with Ron Washington’s use of Matt Treanor. Based on their career numbers, Treanor had a better chance of reaching base than Molina, and reaching base helps there. Maybe Molina hits a home run, but Sabathia wasn’t going to throw him anything good, and Bengie isn’t disciplined enough to take a walk.
