This is hilarious. It seems like an Onion parody story, but CNN ran it.
The line that cracked me up was:
Breul won’t hazard a guess on their value, but he indicated some might be worth about $1.
I hope the D.C. police work this diligently on all the break-ins and other theft that occur in the city.


This collection of cards would be truly priceless if they had recovered a bunch of 1987 SportFlics or any Score cards from 1988-1992. Oh the humanity!
Maybe the owner realized that collecting cards is cool until your teens. After that you’re collecting pictures of men.
