With a runner on third and one out in the top of the ninth, Gardenhire asks Punto to squeeze. He pops it up and Detroit turns the double play. The teams go to the bottom of the ninth tied at one.
Update: The Tigers get a man to second with two outs. Ramon Santiago smashes a ball to right, but Span runs it down to send the game to extra innings.

Whew. Not a good game for the heart, especially when you’re relying on play-by-play man Dan Gladden, who doesn’t really seem to “watch” the “game” so much.
