The Phillies at the Dodgers kicks off the evening at 6 PM EDT with Cristopher Sanchez facing Tyler Glasnow both having pitched in game one. The extra off days allow teams in the NL LDS to go with a three-man rotation. Sanchez pitched well in the opener, walking two and striking out eight in 5 2/3 innings, but did not figure in the decision. Glasnow came on in relief of Shohei Ohtani and allowed two hits and two walks in 1 2/3 innings, not allowing a run.

MLB lists the starting pitchers for game four of the series between the Brewers and Cubs as undecided. It may be game one starters Freddy Peralta and Matthew Boyd, or it may be those two in combination with openers and a bullpen game. The wheels will be turning as the Cubs try to send the series back to Milwaukee.
