Juan Soto of the Mets remained at the top of the Baseball Musing Batter Rankings after a double and two walks in a 3-2 Nationals victory. That drops the Mets into a tie with Cincinnati for the third wild card slot, the Reds holding the tie breaker. The Diamondbacks are just one game behind them. Matt Olson of the Braves sits in second place after a one for three with two walks in a 6-2 win over the Tigers. The Tigers held their one game lead in the AL Central as the Guardians lost. The teams open a three-game series in Cleveland on Tuesday.

Vinnie Pasqantino of the Royals now sits in third place as he drew a walk in five plate appearances in an 8-5 Blue Jays win, Toronto clinching a playoff slot. George Springer to the Blue Jays ranks fifth with a single, double, and walk in the game.

Yandy Diaz of the Rays ranks fourth. He singled and walked in a 7-3 win over the Red Sox.

The highest game score of the day came at 82 in a tie between Joey Bart of the Pirates and Ben Rice of the Yankees. Bart went four for four with a double, a home run and three RBI in an 11-0 win over the Athletics. Bart did a good job in his reserve role, posting a .358 OBP this seaosn. Rice went four for five with a double, home run, and five RBI, his grand slam in the tenth inning sealing the Yankees 7-1 victory over the Orioles. Rice owns a very respectable .252/.335/.488 slash line on the season,
