The Brewers try to make it two in a row against the Blue Jays as Quinn Priester takes on Kevin Gausman. Priester, with middling three true outcomes, manages just a .275 opposition BABIP. The Brewers do the little things right, and one of those is defense. Gausman owns a 3.87 ERA. He limits power with a .371 slugging percentage allowed.
Lefties battle in Philadelphia as the Braves send Chris Sale against Cristopher Sanchez. Sale returns from the illjured list with a 2.52 ERA in 89 1/3 innings. He last pitched June 18th. He looked like a Cy Young candidate at the time with 114 K and just 26 walks. Sanchez, with 162 1/3 innings will qualify for the ERA leaderboard and needs 19 2/3 innings this season to set a personal single season high.
Enjoy!
