Nolan McLean of the Mets lived up to his minor league M.O. in his major league debut. He walked four batters in 5 1/3 innings, but allowed just two hits and no runs. He also induced a double play to wind up allowing no runs. The Mets beat the Mariners 3-1, and McLean’s career is off to a good start.
