Mariano Rivera tore his Achilles tendon during the Yankees Old-Timers game.
In his lone at-bat, Rivera singled off former teammate Andy Pettitte and easily ran to first base. During an at-bat by Willie Randolph, Rivera took a step and fell to the ground in shallow center field behind second base.

I heard Roger Clemens talking about this on the radio broadcast. He’d like the name changed to the Alumni game, as he doesn’t feel like an old-timer.
