Hector Neris of the Astros appeared commit an intentional balk to move Trevor Story of the Red Sox from second to third base because Neris suspected sign stealing:
Asked if he felt the Red Sox were stealing signs, Neris responded: “Maybe. Maybe yes, maybe no.”
“But I still wanted to concentrate,” the 36-year-old right-hander continued. “In (that) situation, I want to do what I’m feeling in the moment. That is the reason why I moved him to third.”

Neris got the third out of the inning, but there was a bit of a dust up with the Red Sox third base coach when Neris walked off the field.
Boston manager Alex Cora was Houston’s bench coach when their sign-stealing scandal broke last decade.
