Former infielder Lenny Randle died at the age of 75. It is unfortunate that the most memorable things about him involved fights and a rule violation, although at least the latter was funny.
In 1981, Randle was playing third base for the Mariners. Kansas City Royals outfielder Amos Otis hit a trickling ball down the third-base line. Randle got on his hands and knees to try to blow the ball foul.

My thoughts go out to his family and friends.
There is video of his revenge bunt at the link.
Randle hit decently enough for a middle infielder of the era, although he did play multiple positions. He posted a .321 OBP with little power. He attempted many more stolen bases than his ability should have allowed, with a 58.2% success rate on 268 attempts. He best year came in 1977 with the Mets at seasonal age 28. He hit .304/.383/.404 that season, posting a 4.2 rWAR with 65 walks and just 70 strikeouts.
He was one of the last players on the second incarnation of the Washington Senators, moving with the team to Texas in 1972.
