Eight and two thirds innings into his major league career, Kyle Hurt* of the Dodgers goes on the illjured list.

The Los Angeles Dodgers placed right-hander Kyle Hurt on the 15-day injured list Saturday because of right shoulder inflammation.

The move is retroactive to Wednesday. In a corresponding move, the Dodgers recalled left-hander Nick Ramirez from Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Hurt, 25, made his first start in the major leagues on Tuesday, and in three games this season is 0-1 with a 1.35 ERA, one walk and three strikeouts in 6 2/3 innings.
