Gee-pers

With 7 2/3 strong innings Thursday afternoon against the Rockies, Dillon Gee put together a nice baker’s dozen of starts. He allowed one run in 7 2/3 innings against Colorado as the Mets win 2-1. In his last 89 1/3 innings he allowed just 26 runs, 24 earned for a 2.42 ERA. He walked just 20, and this was the fourth start of the sequence in which he did not issue a pass. We’ll see if this turns out to be a hot streak or a turning point for the Mets starter.
