The Orioles won the Bud Norris sweepstakes:
The Orioles and Astros worked out a deal right before the non-waiver Trade Deadline on Wednesday that sent Houston starting pitcher Bud Norris to Baltimore in exchange for outfielder L.J. Hoes, left-hander Josh Hader and a Competitive Balance Draft pick
“I’m excited for the opportunity,” Norris told MLB.com. “I’m very thankful for Houston and the organization for everything they’ve done for me and given to me. … As I look forward, I’m excited to play in Baltimore. They’ve got a great city and a great, young team. They play together and play very hard. I’m excited to go to the postseason and make a run at something.”
Norris is a solid, middle of the rotation, pitcher. He should give them four starters with ERAs under 4.00 as they make their push for the playoffs.
Hoes has done an excellent job in his minor league career of getting on base, while Hader is just 19 with a ton of strikeouts. It looks like two nice pickups for the Astros.

Norris has not pitched well this month and his declining K rate this year makes me wonder if the Orioles are getting damaged goods.
