The Braves and Nationals went through a long rain delay, and Stephen Strasburg comes out after the layoff. That’s unusual, and I would have thought the Nationals would have used this as an excuse to save some innings for their young star. I assume we’ll find out at some point if Strasburg pitched simulated innings during the rain delay to stay warm. He’s allowed two hits and struck out six as he pitches with one out in the fourth.
