Starting Over

Brian Duensing pitched well out of the bullpen this season, but when the Twins gave him four starts starting in late June, he posted an ERA over ten. Minnesota gave Brian another chance to start on Sunday, and he pitched well against the Indians, allowing one run in six innings for the win as the Twins take the game by a final of 5-1. Duensing allowed five home runs in 13 1/3 innings as a starter previously, but did not walk a batter nor allow a home run today.

The Indians lost 8 of their last 11 games and are quickly falling out of contention.
