I like Ron Washington’s attitude toward Josh Hamilton’s slump:
Hamilton will begin play with 17 strikeouts in 53 at-bats since returning from an illness that caused him to be hospitalized. Hamilton had his second four-strikeout performance in the last five games during Wednesday’s win against Detroit.
“I’m not concerned about Josh,” manager Ron Washington said. “Give Josh 600 at-bats, and he’s going to do some damage.”
If you scroll down on this page to Hamilton’s stats by month, you’ll see a very good example that anything can happen in 100 at bats.
