The Astros continue to impress in the front office with the hire of Harvard alumna Stephanie Wilka as the coordinator of amateur scouting.

Wilka, a former cheerleader at Harvard, has worked in community relations with the Dodgers and Red Sox. She earned a law degree from Pepperdine and passed the California bar exam last July, according to the Astros’ release.

It seems she’s working her way up in the business. Kim Ng might be getting some competition for first female MLB general manager.
