The Atlanta Braves must be very happy with their young starters this evening. Brandon Beachy and Tommy Hanson hung with Roy Halladay and Cliff Lee in two games. And while none of the starters recorded a decision, they kept their teams in the game. After both Lee and Hanson allowed one run Saturday afternoon, the Braves scored three times in the top of the tenth to win 4-1. Matching two of the best starters in baseball has to be a huge confidence boost for these youngsters.
