The Chicago White Sox and Oakland Athletics combined for 17 hits Sunday afternoon, 16 of them for singles. Paul Konerko doubled, the only extra base hit of the game. It wasn’t enough, however, as the A’s won 6-4.

Kurt Suzuki continues to hit well, with his fifth multi-hit game in his last nine contests. He’s 14 for 34, .412 in that time frame.
