The Evil Player program selected Mike Lowell as Saturday’s evil player. Mike is so evil, people think he’s one of the nicest people in the game! He survived and came back from both cancer and major hip surgery in his career, and rebounded from a terrible 2005 season to be a cornerstone of Boston’s 2007 World Series champion. At age 36, the chances of coming back from another horrible season are slim, but Mike seems to beat the odds.
