Steven Strasburg is pulled after seven innings against the White Sox despite throwing just 85 pitches. He gives up four hits, walking none and striking out ten, his second start in double digits in strikeouts. He won’t get the win, however, as he leaves in a 1-1 tie as Adam Dunn doubled home Ryan Zimmerman with two out in the bottom of the seventh to tie the game.

So what’s that… 20 IP & 31 K’s? Man, this guy’s doin’ great his 1st round through the majors.
Look forward to Strasburg facing a good MLB team. The White Sox, Pirates and Indians are not much of a test.
Don’t get me wrong, the guy has great stuff, but some of these hitters are making his job easier chasing the balls out of the zone, and swinging at the first pitch.
He had a great changeup today, had hitters chasing that thing all over the place. A 91 mph changeup is a heck of a changeup. Reminds me of Joba when he first came up throwing 98 mph FB and 90 mph sliders (that was in relief though, Strasburg is doing it for 7 innings).
