In a mid-west battle, the Tigers visit the Brewers with Tarik Skubal taking on Tyler Alexander. Skubal struck out 16 and walked just four in his 16 2/3 innings, but allowed three home runs. He only allowed 15 in 192 innings in 2024. Alexander walked seven batters in 12 2/3 innings, but with opponents slugging just .273 against, those runners tend to remain on base.
